Tulsa library celebrates hitting fundraising goal to replace Brookside branch

The Tulsa City-County Library has officially completed an effort to raise $9.6 million to replace the Brookside Library.

The facility is the first of four library locations to be replaced as part of the “MY Library, OUR Future” campaign. A groundbreaking will be held this summer, with the library opening to follow in 2025.

The fundraising was kickstarted with a lead gift from Tulsans Bob and Leslie Pritchard, who chose to honor Leslie’s late father Donald Bronson Atkins by naming the new branch the Bronson Brookside Library.
